Muchiachio bd9fc5dc68 Using IsDefined over GetCustomAttribute<T> 
- Replaced Type.GetCustomAttribute<T> with Type.IsDefined where the
attribute instance is only used to check if it's defined, to increase
performance.

Resolves #3416
